About Me

My name is Cassandra "Cassie" Welch, but all my fans - also known as my story time friends - call me Miss Cassie. I am a Children's Librarian at Nashville Public Library.

I graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a BA in Elementary Education and spent three and a half wonderful years teaching PreKindergarten, Kindergarten, and Second Grade. Ultimately, I found my way to the world of libraries and haven't looked back since. I graduated from Valdosta State University with my MLIS in 2016 with a focus in Youth Services and Library Management. You can view my full resume here.
